KICHE aims to present the works of both Korean and international contemporary artists, building an alternative platform for communication, cooperation and partnership within and outside the art scene. The gallery seeks to experiment its mid-long term vision by closely collaborating with art experts and institutions, establishing itself as a creative, engaging gallery space. With such approach, KICHE continues to play a role in deepening the artist’s unique practice; as well as, expanding the extent of opportunities and exposures.
기체는 동시대 국내외 현대미술 작가들을 중심으로 미술계 안과 밖에서 꾸준한 소통, 협력, 연대를 꾀해 가깝고도 유연한 플랫폼을 구축하고자 합니다. 이는 궁극적으로 미술계 각 분야의 전문가 혹은 그룹들과의 다채로운 프로젝트로 중, 장기적인 비전을 실험하고 발전시켜 나가는 창의적이고 상호적인 터전으로 자리매김하고자 하는 의지를 담고 있습니다. 또한 이런 접근을 바탕으로 작가 고유의 작업세계를 심화할 뿐 아니라, 그 외연과 활동의 폭을 넓혀갈 수 있도록 함께 고민하고, 노력할 것입니다.
